Seoul-based Datumo raises $15.5M to take on Scale AI, backed by Salesforce
Datumo, a Seoul-based AI data-labeling startup, raised $15.5M (bringing its total to $28M) led by Salesforce Ventures to expand its no-code LLM evaluation and monitoring platform. Founded in 2018 by former defense researcher David Kim, Datumo pivoted from crowd-sourced data labeling to automated AI testing tools. With clients like Samsung, LG and SK Telecom contributing to $6M in 2024 revenue, the new funding will drive R&D on automated enterprise AI evaluation and fuel expansion across South Korea, Japan and the U.S.
