Massive Attack Pulls Spotify Catalogue Over CEO’s Military AI Investment

Massive Attack pulled their catalogue from Spotify to protest CEO Daniel Ek’s reported €600m investment via Prima Materia in Helsing, a military AI and drone firm (maker of the HX-2). The band said artists’ earnings now fund lethal technologies and joined the No Music for Genocide campaign blocking music in Israel. Helsing says its tech is only deployed in Europe to deter Russian aggression in Ukraine.
