Google Trials Windows Desktop Search App with AI, Lens & Tabbed Results

Google is trialing a Windows search app through Search Labs that places a draggable desktop search bar (Alt+Space) to search files, Drive, and the web. It includes Lens for visual search and translation, an AI Mode for answers, and tabbed results (All, Images, Shopping, Videos). Installable like a Chrome app, it’s currently English-only, US-limited, and requires Windows 10 or later.
