Anthropic Suffers Brief API and Claude Outage
Anthropic suffered a brief outage on Sept. 10 that took down its APIs, Console and Claude (users noticed around 12:20 ET / just before 9:30am PT). The company said service was quickly restored after implementing fixes and is monitoring results. Users joked about having to ‘use their brains’ while Claude was offline; Anthropic has seen recent platform hiccups.
